Some more tru greenskins were rerquiered in my LOTR project, so here some sub-orc/goblinoid low cost scum lead by insisdous chief Grishnak.(this charachter exists in both films and movies)
This single figure is a self-made copy from and old Grenadier model (I was experimenting with silicon moulds and using lead directly form old pipes, some years ago.. Hope not having intoxicated myself so much then)
Yoy will see also: different Dark alliance orc and goblin indoivudals..
I was always having some "concept" mind conflict between categories of "orc", "goblin" and so on..
Finnally I decided to condieder all of them as "orcs", the bigger (Cesar example or borrowed 25mm models) will be esasily "Great orcs", the main gropup can be "common" or "lesser orcs· (the figures in this post belong here, the same as all Alliance orc sets and for example Moria orcs form GW stuff)
and then "goblins" will be the smallest types, using reference of Cesar goblins as maximal height (that means, caesar goblins and some of the Alliance goblins figures can be inlcuded, like 18mm type Orcs form blood dawn or eureka)
Also two unfinished tests for Isengard trolls, destined to bulk the uruk-Hai army .. I followed the example of Philotep and took some of his tricks in his tutorial, but much simpier.
Result is not as good as his, but i think they really work like that! I swear, it was totally casual that he and me posted trolls with only 24h of difference!!
Some details missing still but we were on a hurry, orctoberfest is almost on its end, these fellows can only get maybe the rests from the table!!!No big problem anyway for the greenskin scum if searching later a dessert in the rubbish is needed
Ah ah, another unit for Orctoberfest, just in time! Excellent work, a good mix of different sets. Where does Grishnak comes from ? I don't recognize the mini, another conversion ?
ResponderEliminarThak you Phil, i had to compensate the desertion to Rohan last week (it obliged me to work faster, but it is Ok, I think i will be able to make a Tolkien battle soon thanks to this Orcotberfest events)
ResponderEliminarGrishnak is an altered copy which I made with home-developed moulds and old piping metal rests around 15 years ago, i will try later to post a picture of the original metal, a role-playing figure
Another wild and ragged boast for orctober!. You really do have a great talent in blending figures from different sets and manufacturs into united looking forces.
ResponderEliminarHost, not boast!.
EliminarThank you Sprinks! ;)
