Hello everybody!! I am so sorry was not there for really long.. Corona crisis had a big impact in my activity ad life. Fortunately Health was always there, Just some organizative and relative economical problems, but not really very bad
After much and long work, I finnaly was able to finish a good "solid" cavalry force for my Army of Rohan (the faction was already tested in " War of the Ring" gaming system and quite satisfyting..
Last figures I added there, belong to a beautiful, recent set from Alliance/Redbox. They ressemble strongly the look from the movies. They look fine already with little painting work, as you can realize here (some other figures as for example the Flagbearer are form other manufacturers, guess which)
They were added to my main Rohirrim mounted force which inlcudes many other figures "recruited" from different clasical plastic sets (you guess all of them?) , as well as some Metal Tumbling dice vikings, saxons and goths (Paul from germany did recently post several pictures and review of these sets, which are very useful for all us collectors/hobbysts!)
I was afraid the last batch would not match the otherwaise "heterogeneous" mass of different figures, but fortunately I believe was wrong,.. I think all brands mix well after giving them a consistent colour choice and style
I collected around 50 mounted warriors, inlcuding spearmen, archers, Flag bearers, some musician and some officers. Specially happy I am with main Charachters I added form Books/ Movies: King Teoden, eomer, Erkenbrand and ad a strong addition, Gandalf the White!
I really like the look of this troop, riding on the fled with beautifil Green, red and white banners floating in the wind.. As Epic as they must be!!!
Infantry Rohan figures for playing the Battle in the West fold and of course the Siege of Helms deeps are also reay.. pictures coming soon..
I also finished around 200 Uruk Hai wich will be also used... And some surprises I would like to finish for the nex Orktoberfest 2020, wich I hope can be celebrated online depsiete all Coronaproblems..
PS--I admit i also was busy with some No-1/72 stuff..
I am very ashamed of this, but you mates deserve to know the Truth (hope however, you also like this final stuff..:))
Hi! You're mocking me because of my Kinkeshi figures, and I discover that you were painting Star Wars Legion minis on your side of Europe !!! :D :D
