Battle of the Bastards

Hi all, sorry not to have written..I was quite involved with 28mm figures for Bolt Action AMD Saga .Maybe I post some of them for sharing Here, but I would feel ashamed as this blog was intended to post only 1/72 figures or things...

I came again to Game of Thrones Universe playing the famous "Battle Of the Bastards" which appeared in TV Series during sesión 6..

In one side we have  first ",Bastard" Jon Snow with some northerner loyalists as House Mormont, together with some wildlings , a giant and the support of Sansa, David Seaworth and Tormund Giantsbane, trying to recover Winterfell from the Evil hamds of  second "Bastard"Ramsey Bolton

In the other side, Ramsey brings huk of Bolton troops together with troops from some other. Northern House as Karstarks and Umbers.

Ramsey has youngest brother of Bin, Rickon, as hostage. However he sents him to his brother in a crudel movement to make his smaller army move first..

Rickon runs to his Half brother, who fvamces with his Stark guarde..the boy gets shot and dies..

Both Armies advance Wild for disputing the center if the field

We were able to replay the famous scene of Jon alone, Sword in hamd, against Bolton Cavalry!!!!

Fights are so hard in the center that both Ramsey and Jon Snow die....But Battle goes on..

Bolton troops try to surround the few remaining Stark units

Im turn 4, four corpse piles are placed n the center if the field, surroindint the objective marker. That represented the increase of dead people, as in tv . That gave moral bonus to Bolton but penalty to Jon troops 

But turn 4 was also the coming of the unexoected reinforcements of House Arryn brought by Littlefinger and Sansa.

Again, clash of Cavalry in Bolton flank re.i ded the TV show

After hard charges and combate, the Battle turns to Stark but Boltons keep hard Game and we had a Draw Game at the end (9pt to 9pt)

Indeed an exciting Game and quite balanced...

I am thinking to introduce some further hoomerule tonkeep both leaders a bit longer Alive (allowing Maybe to jum into another Unit if the original one gets destroyed..) that wss the only.part of game which was not so good, bith died quick, before battle clímax

First playing "Escape from Stalingrad-Z"

As explained in previous post, a rulebook and scenarios book for playing bizarre idea "Scape from Stalingrado Z" (actually (I would have rather chosen scape from Z-talingrado as name for the game, but whatever :), AMD I developed a series of 1/72 figures to use instead tokens, knewing that It would give a lot more fun.

I finished all figures and even made some decent scenografy already .

The Game allows to play many solo scenarios in a campaign,so I tested the Game with three of them, with some terror atmosphere music around and totally alone as wife and children are out of the city for some days

What an experience!! i really enjoyed a lot.

Rules at the begimming can be some harsh for remembering many modifiers movement, actions and fight, as well as the altternance with the zombie actions and their mechsnicbs, but after some turns It ran good.. only a D12 is needed, but many different tokens to be watched.  

i started Game with Wehrmacht sappeur Tilo, who fougjt alone against undead for 2 scenarios. 

He was joint in third by Brave russian Sniper woman Dasha. Both scaped to fourth scenario, equipped with a Lugar , a knife and the Sniper rifle of the girl, but she brings two wounds..Will she became a zombie?? Will they find more survivors and or weapons? To be continued.

Bizarre Things..Soviets, nazis nand Zombies

Hi, many projects stopped at same time...coonciding with working on many 28mm figs for playing with the human nin-1/72 community :(

Anyway a friend showed me this Funny surprise...

Russian and Germán survivors trying to scape from a zombie infestation exactly during Battle of Stalingrad!!! Could not turn the head to other place :)

We got the manual and the book of scenaries...But the básic box was too far from budget...But as the scenarios ar e confortably to play directly on the A4 size book with a 1cmx1cm grid...I realized 1/72 figs fit quite good...

Which figs??? Well, no problema with normal german and soviet soldiers...(althougj I had to take some samples from a friend, as I am more specialized un ancient-medieval-fantasy), but playa le characters are se special... And what about ZOMBIES???

Well, some figures from Dark Alliance and some conversions with all odd pose ww2 figs did the job :) Here my preliminar results.

i think my converted 8 survivors characters match also good :)

Dasha- unmodified Zvezda soviet Sniper

Lydia- converted strelets stalingrad Germán to a fighting nurse in warm clothes

Katyuska - revell siberian rifle with just a change of genre

Algyr -unmodified revell siberian grenade thrower

Becker- unmodified Airfix pistol Office

Steiner- unmodified Caesar Mp40 stalingrad soldier/ncu

Reiser- i took an modified Atlántic Germán rifleman

Til: till now unmodified Revell Germán panzergrenadier with sleeves rolled

i wanted to wait for a whole, but as Philotep is casually working on same Universe (mind conexión, friend) , I puta Here som work in progress with Thulsa Doom with Evil Guys, Conan, Red Sonja, Belit Queen of Black Coast, Valeria  and more to come.

Riders Of Doom (I)

Hi, I write little but try to revive my hobby and the posting in Old Sceavus blog :)

I take again one old Desired Project of mine...With help of a 3d printer, dreams come true easier

Inspired from the great Conan The Barbarian film (John Milius-De Laurentis 1982) I took the cimmerian Redbox Sets with pasión, and for years I was planning also to mix with some other figures and make my on custom charachters.. specially the villains, with Lord witch Thulsa-Doom and followers..
