Dwarves are slow....

Hi, I am really not doing much in 2021...Bit I have plenty of ideas..

I have new rulesets to test as dragón Rampante and Oathmark (this last looks very promising..)

The problem is always getting enough painted troops...

I started some converted dwarven Vault Wardens, supposed to be heavy Dwarf Warriors, organised in Teams  of two troopers: One with huge tower shield and after him another with long pole stick or pike. They are able to block tunnels and galleries with the shield and from there, Pierce wave after wave of goblin marauders...

I chose some interesting poses from Alliance dwarves and was able to get some nice 3d printed shields...

evem Looking too Big, after a cutwork they do the job..Let me introduce my first Teams of  Vault Wardens or "dwarven Mine riot units"

The 3d resin is by the way quite frágile..I did some damage on the Shields..well, war under the Mountain is probably quite harsh.

I am Also planning some units of Miners and Rangers with lighter gear.

Hello friends and Happy New Year to you All, Hopefully we Will have better experiences!

Let me show you the last Dwarfcember figures I  produced. This Will be the vanguard for a More Solide and complete dwarven I hoipe to prepare army during winter.

I did not finish all details or basing still but I was so excites so show this. And I have a new  great Battlemat to use for first time!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy Dwarfcember

Hi, First I wish you all a Happy Christmas time diring these so unexpected situation..

I made celebraron ay home, only me with Mrs Sceava Domina and my three Sceavimini. Sushi, Pizza and Cartoons, and ready for waiting Mr Papá Noel .aka. S. Klaus. A different Christmas Eve, calm, simple and Happy anyway.

Now I show you some last results with resin 3d printed figures from Speira Miniatures : Dwarf slayer Grungnir Gotreksson and his Wild daughter Falya Grungnirsdotter.

Beautiful models with very good results even with an "amateur" painting as mine.

Then an old project which I could retake: beside the special figure from Alliance cimmerians, I took one increíble Warrior girl, again from Speira mins:

By Crom, let me introduce to you Conan the Barbarian, and Red Sonja she-Devil with a sword !!!

Finnally: As an addition to my Dwarf forces , another Speira Dwarf, a good Runesmith, for whom I found a good mobile Anvil-platfom... (It is a plastic Dwarf miner vagon /grudge pony from GW Warhammer Fantasy Battles...Bought at second hand just Today..marches so good my 1/72 dwarves...My last Christmas present)

Just started the project, but I like It...Please imaginé It for now as an Alternative Santa- tribute on Mithril sleigh :)

Time travelling

 Hi, ley me show you what I found in local 2nd hand shop..

Original loose unpainted Revell Normans, Gauls, HYW English and hyw French...

And extreme cheap!!

I Will go for more..It is my chance to repaint them all with my nowadays 2020 fortunately better skills than 1995 

Epic Sunday Experience

As it was cold, we have a funny family entertainment, my three little children leading the forces of the  Living against my army of the Dead

Of ourse, it is very educative for little boys and girls to command  wild warriors , men of the Night Watch and armored noble knights, in order behead  dad´s zombies and using Noble Maidens to throw magic spells to heal troops and weaken the enemy :)

My second boy had not Fear in thworing all warriors in a direct bloody berserker charge to my forces.

Total succes. 

Very recommendable  Experience :)

Big Buddies

 Hello, I painted these children some weeks ago but finnally I made some pics

The technique I used for the Trolls was really fast and effective (Necrotic yellow as priming-base and then soft shade with blue..it works!!)They Will join my Big orc Horde

Then I painted a Big Hills Giant...I liked his "scottish" look..:)

Speira Miniatures

 Hello, I am dispersed again in many initiatives,and using very bad my few time and energíes..

Let me show nevertheless the very beautiful figures printed un high quality 3d resina by Speira Miniatures

Christian and Hellen deliver an excellent service and product. As customer I had to wait around 3 weeks for my figures to be manufactured and shipped but I was really worth of It...

Here just some samples of high quality 3d printed 1/72 fantasy dwarves, compared and mixed with many other dwarves in my collection and growing Army 

I was a little worried about the scale but O believe they match the 1/72 properly. Their proportions are maybe in the "heroic scale" being sturdier than other 1/72 dwarves, but the charachters or heroes fit so good as such (maybe Plain trooper types product no so good integration in a regiment with other Warriors, bit some examples as here look not bad..They might be used as captains however still)

female dwarves look so good.I had the chance to order them bearded butbthey looked too masculin then (maybe in a figure order..) Without beard they look good enough and give the chance to show visible dwarven women on Battle!

As you can see, I already thought even a project for a Dwasrven Runesmith carried to battlefiled on a slow buffalo Chariot....

A new Dwarf High King is on the Shield of Power, and some dwaven Warrior Maidens and Malé Berserkers Will find a Place ONG the Slayers... AMD take care! instead a New King maybe you find a new Queen!!
